Develop and Deliver Training for Earning Capacity
Provide training materials/instructions that delineate how the earning capacity model/calculator arrives at the output amount based on each specific entry. Provide, as part of the training materials, canned language that explains the basis of each output and adjustment to outputs that the LCSAs can use in their documentation of the earning capacity.

To maintain the innovative, rural, distance graduate Family Nurse Practitioner Program (FNP) at Sonoma State University (SSU). The Master of Science degree and the Post-Master's degree FNP Program utilizes faculty to help coordinate distance sites and provide experiences in under-served areas in North-Central California and in the Central Valley.

The Anthropological Studies Center (ASC) will provide an Extended Phase I study to determine the presence or absence of cultural resources within the proposed Area of Potential Effects (APE). Study includes work of subsurface testing, development of a testing proposal, and subsurface testing results analysis and reporting.
toEstablishment of Collaborative Grazing at the Fairfield Osborn Preserve
This project establishes long-term cattle grazing on 115-acres of grassland at SSU's Fairfield Osborn Preserve. Objectives of the project are to increase fire safety by reducing thatch buildup and reduce abundance of invasive yellow star thistle for fire mitigation. Funding is provided solely for infrastructure needed to support cattle grazing.
toCalifornia Sea Lion (Zalophus californianus) Movements and Foraging Behavior in the Channel Islands and Behavioral Responses to Experimental Naval Sonar
Our research team will develop new methods for quantifying behavioral responses of California sea lions exposed to military sonar. This research fills an important data gap because while California sea lions occur in high numbers in Navy testing and operational areas, controlled exposure experiments have never been conducted with this species.
