This project will serve 300 TRIO professionals nation-wide and Focus on proven strategies for recruiting and serving hard-to-reach populations—including students who are limited English proficient, students from groups who are traditionally underrepresented in postsecondary education, students who are individuals with disabilities, students who are homeless children and youth, students who are foster care youth, or other disconnected students. The new methods and strategies introduced in this training are applicable for all students.

Advisor Wellness Initiatives

Leveraging available research, improve the recruitment, retention, health, and effectiveness of Professional Academic Advisors (PAAs) and support-staff, including student-assistants, through three wellness initiatives which are sustainable and on-going (i.e., funded for at least five years) and are focused on the holistic wellness and life/work-balance of our academic advising teams. Initiative 1: Creating a Wellness Den, Initiative 2: develop an online training module, Initiative 3: Employee of the Year Award.

College Student Right to Access Program

The funds from this award are provided to assist in the establishment of the necessary infrastructure within CSU Student Health Centers to provide for the implementation of medication abortion as an ongoing service offered to students within the Student Health Centers.
