Focused on improving mathematics education in rural counties, the Rural Math Collaborative (RMC) is a consortium of 20 Northern California Counties, funded by a grant from the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) through a grant to the Lake County Office of Education (LCOE). LCOE in turn has a subagreement with the Sonoma County Office of Education (SCOE) for leadership of the professional development efforts. As the faculty advisor for the California Math Project: North Coast, SCOE wishes to engage Ben Ford as a professional development provider for RMC. During 2025-26, Dr. Ford will co-lead lesson study virtual and in-person institutes, participate in RMC leadership meetings, and co-design and co-lead California Math Framework workshops.
