Focused on improving mathematics education in rural counties, the Rural Math Collaborative (RMC) is a consortium of 20 Northern California Counties, funded by a grant from the California Collaborative for Educational Excellence (CCEE) through a grant to the Lake County Office of Education (LCOE).

The California Mathematics Project: North Coast (CMP:NC) is one of 19 sites of a statewide network of University-based professional learning providers.  As a collaboration between SSU's Department of Mathematics and Statistics and School of Education and the Sonoma County Office of Education, CMP:NC has provided extended, multi-year professional learning opportunities to K-12 mathematics teachers from Marin County to the Oregon border since its founding in 1999.

Transformative Inclusion in Postsecondary STEM: Towards Justice (TIPS Towards Justice) aims to increase the participation and success of Latinx students in STEM by transforming STEM department cultures to become truly “Hispanic-Serving.” Starting in the Math and Stats Department followed by other STEM departments, faculty will develop, test, and publish a two-year departmental pathway that will address persistent marginalization and underrepresentation of Latinx students in STEM—a necessary step if the talents of a growing Latinx population are to benefit the country.
