This project extends Teresa Nguyen's prior work on Latinx families by disentangling the effects of race and income on intimate relationship processes. To do so, Teresa will survey Latinx families and a comparison sample of White and Asian families who vary in socioeconomic status.

Dr. Teresa Nguyen will use her Visionary Grant Award from the American Psychological Foundation to test a proposed culturally-sensitive model of marriage and relationship development.
