Abstract:
For my research project I decided to research a major historical event that happened in the 1980s that made an impact during that time period. When you look back at the 1980s there are so many things that happened and changed. Such as the clothing, architectural designs, and even music. For my research project I decided to look at a historical music event that had taken place. The We Are The World song that was released in 1985. This song was written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie and was created to help Africa's famine. The song had all of the most famous singers in the 80s at the time which is why it made it so special and great. This song brought the world and artists together for a great cause. Throughout my project I will look at why it was created and the impact it had.
