Abstract:
A description of research on linguistic adaptations and evolution in the regional wine industry, including results from work in an industrial wine production operation as an "undercover linguist". Brief description of the work environment, the linguistic space, and findings about how Spanish is evolving and adapting to meet communicative needs of the workers and employers.
