Abstract:
This research project was started with the assumption that people have come a long way with equality. That would mean that Black people would be as represented in media sources as much as White people. Black people have always been in all different types of media sources- television, movies, YouTube videos, etc. However, this project raises the question of how much are Black people really in media sources, specifically television, and how much of that population consists of the younger age group, 10-20 years old. This is done through thorough research and analyzing different sources in order to see how ethnically diverse television really is.
