Abstract:
I chose to focus on the topic of fashion during the 1980s. I felt that the media's influence on the fashion trends, were the most interesting to me, so I decided to research the most popular fashion icons through those on TV, in movies, and other platforms that influenced the trends. I picked out a couple of specific outfits I felt represented 80's fashion, and recreated them on friends as my models. I also chose to demonstrate these findings through the form of a scrapbook, because I have always enjoyed making them as a way to preserve memories, and found it was unique to preserve these fashion trends in a way through this method as well.
