Abstract:
In my poster, Ready, AIM, Protest, I have depicted the American Indian Movement protesting throughout the country in the 1970s. I created a colorful border which was inspired by the groovy and flamboant culture of the 1970s. In the center of the poster there is a photo titled "200 Years of Misery", in the caption below it states the American government broke all promises to the Native American community except for the promise of taking away Indian land (Diaz, 1976). My poster represents the culture and the Native American resistence to the United States government during the 1970s.
