Abstract:
We extracted and purified the enzyme Alpha Amylase from Asergillus Niger. First was did Solid State Fermentation with orange peels as a substrate. We centrifuged and the precipitated sample under went dialysis, and purification using DEAE-Sephacel for column chromatography and SDS Page. We also performed a DNS Assay to test for enzyme activity.
