Abstract:
My creative project was based on the importance and impact of psychology and therapy. I researched what therapy was, where psychology stood as a study, and how people received help in the 1980’s. This project is supposed to show the positive progress that could be made through therapy, but more specifically art therapy. Even if people do not think they have any artistic skills, art therapy can still be very useful, and, as many say, a picture or painting is worth a thousand words. These words can express how someone is feeling, or how they view themselves or something else. I chose this topic because I am extremely interested in psychology and the growth of psychology overtime. In conclusion, I wanted to express the importance of therapy of any form, and the positive outcomes it can have that can affect someone's life in a positive way for the rest of their lives.
