Abstract:
Music plays a foundational role in societies as music is known to bring communities together. Music is not just a series of loud noises, but a way others express themselves by displaying their emotions, identity, faith and even social conditions in a unique way through their own type of music. In my presentation, I will be exploring the popular music genres like Jazz Music, Blues Music and Dance Music  as well as  where and when they originated. I will also be going over many popular singers/musicians within these music genres and the common instruments used to create the music like the saxophone, trumpets, trombones as well as a rhythm section.
