Abstract:
In the early hours of On November 30th, 1969 more than 80 Natives sailed to the shores of Alcatraz to take back the land that is rightfully theirs. They set up their own infirmary and their own Radio station. The Radio broadcaster names John Trudell. He was the voice of the movement to take back the island. He was on the FBI's most-wanted list. the native Americans held the island for an entire 18 months.
