Abstract:
This project will cover the secret operation of how 29 members of the Native American Navajo tribe volunteered to be a part of a secret operation during WWII that the U.S. Marines proposed. It will give credit to the first people who had done a similar operation but where changes had to be made. It will also cover what they had accomplished and their journey through their mission and how they were respected post-war. It will end off with the remaining Code Talkers and one last goal that one of the last Navajo wishes to achieve. I hope you all learn a thing or two about the Navajo Code Talkers of WWII.
