Abstract:
Growing up in Northern California came with its advantages, one of them being the extensive Native American education we received on the local tribes. The following presentation details different aspects of three Northern California Native American tribes. The Yurok tribe, Tolowa Dee Ni' Nation, and the Hoopa Valley Tribe are both very similar and very different in their ways. They all eat similar foods, they live in a similar environment, and they practice ceremonies that are similar. With all their similarities, their differences are what make them unique. Different art styles, different tribe sizes, and different languages separate tribes.
