Abstract:
Media has become so big in our lives that it has raised us just as much as our parents have! For generations, media has often cast aside individuals and their cultures, giving children unhealthy models of representation. Media is a reflection of ourselves and we must understand that without diversity in media, people will feel left out and forgotten. Native American representation in a media like video games is important as our generation can finally cast aside offensive sterotypes and listen to Indigious developers. In order for change to happen, we must look back on the past to the present to see our progress and to make better representation. We will keep making the same mistakes until we learn from the past.
