Abstract:
Ancient Yaqui/Yoeme deer dance is never performed by women. Choreographer Tiffani Lopez creates her modernist version of this Yoeme tradition. Still wearing symbolistic regalia in a new, minimalist approach. She wishes to continue to share stories on tv and motion pictures.
