Abstract:
My project is about Michael Jackson who is the top selling pop artist in the 1980s. Throughout my project you will see information about Michael Jackson and his music. The topics I present throughout my slideshow are his background, the music he created, his achievements and the meaning behind his music. For his background I include information on where and when he was born, what he is known for, his family (his mom, dad and siblings and his wives and kids) and when he passed away. For his music I include most of the music he created, when it was produced and how it benefitted him. I talk about his achievements such as the awards he's won, the records he has sold and basically why he was named the "king of pop". Jackson had many meanings behind his lyrics but I specifically talk about his influence racially and the social norms that he had overcome to make a difference. Then I go into detail about the meanings behind three of his top selling songs which were "Thriller", " Billie Jean" and "Don't stop till you get enough".
