Abstract:
When it comes to a topic that I find interesting and want to pursue, it has come down to music in the 1980’s and the rise of the stars and how the music industry transformed when it came down to the production of the music. Narrowing it down to a specific focus, I will be diving deeper into the artist Michael Jackson and how he came into the music industry and really changed the style of music into his own unique style when it came down to not only his songs but also the way he performed. Jackson was the referred to the "king of pop" and he played a major influence on not only fans, but other artists and upcoming artists. Although he was seen as a great artist, Jackson went through a lot of trauma during his childhood and let to problems in his adult life. For this project, I will be focusing on not only is music career gut also how the past traumas he went through played a role in his life.
