Abstract:
Our multidisciplinary team engaged in designing research tools to further understand the concept of Generosity and highlight aspects of the lived experience that might be missing from the literature. We developed a working definition of Generosity for our tool development, devised a structured questionnaire, and developed our interview guide. We find that working as a multidisciplinary team created a distinct experience that expanded our understanding of the literature and allowed us to develop substantial insight leading to deeper discussions of the participant's life experience in the pilot interviews not reflected in prior literature.
