Abstract:
Measuring the morphological parameters of rapidly star-forming galaxies provides the opportunity to  better understand their role in galaxy evolution. Submillimeter  galaxies are actively forming stars  at rates of hundreds of times that of the  Milky Way. This project aims to compare the morphology of rapidly star forming galaxies with the general population of galaxies at that epoch.
