Abstract:
My work is centered around the search for a complete theory of Quantum Gravity, which would unite Einstein's theory of General Relativity with Quantum Mechanics. Measurements in quantum theories of physics are fundamentally different from those in classical theories. There are therefore many major open questions regarding measurement in a quantum theory of gravity. In this presentation, I will explore one such question: How can we measure the topology of a quantum spacetime?
