Abstract:
Insect populations are experiencing declines, especially in harsh environments. We did a population modeling study using beetles in the eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range to determine whether populations would be expected to grow or decline under different scenarios for environmental conditions. This project began during summer 2022 as a Genentech fellowship and continued during the 2022-2023 academic year.
