Abstract:
My project is a letter to Congress urging them to stop the racism that the indigenous people face. I go through the years starting during the 1950s and ending in the '80s which is my main focus. I use a variety of sources like a movie and a music video as well as articles to prove my point that the racism that has plagued our country is still there. Not only that I also created a petition with some of the famous chiefs that fought for their people as well as short summaries and pictures. I created this as a way to show that what is going on will not stand and the chiefs of the past stand by the leader. My goal is to provide a voice to a people that have long been silenced.
