Abstract:
The 1920s was an important time around the United States. The Great Migration led a movement of African Americans all over different parts of the United States. Large cities became more populated and it created a new culture for these new arrivers. Large cities saw a big increase in African American populations and it helped create the new industrialization of America. In the early 1920s the Auto Industry became the new big deal and many corporations like Ford for example became a hot spot for new workers. Many African Americans became employed with Ford since it was a new beginning leaving the South searching for better lives. My Project covers what impacts the Great Migration had on the people who were involved, it effects to the growth of cities, and lastly the impact of the First World War. Its an interesting topic since the Auto Industry was the one of the first large mass industries to take the World by storm.
