Abstract:
The main purpose of this project was to show how feminism was portrayed throughout 1980s films. During that time not a lot of people were really open and were just scared about the issue. For the film, I had to take a deep dive into trying to see if they portrayed feminism in any which way or form. John Hughes really tried to sneak little hits about feminism in all of his movies which was a good idea but at the same time tough. Overall, feminism is a huge topic then and still is now.
