Abstract:
The project is a website, that is in a format as if it is a blog. It is focused on fashion during the 1980s, but also touching on the previous years of 1970s to see how it relates to the evolution of it. Also, giving a little relation to how it affected the 1990s. The website shows the connection between fashion and how it was a reaction to previous years in the African American community. As well, as showing how fashion was more than just clothing but a way of expressing and trying to break down barriers againist the African American community. Also, providing examples of how people did dress during that time on the site as well.
