Abstract:
In short detail, I will be comparing the Red cross and how it’s similar and different to Organization of Arab Red Crescent. I also want to show the difference between a Doctor and a healer and how it has evolved throughout the years and what major professions have been influenced from these two. To continue on with the project description, my interest as a career is a biomedical engineer. I am still undeclared but am very interested in the medical field. The red cross is one of the most famous health organization in the United Sates. The Arab Red Crescent is one of the most famous organizations in Syria. With both making a strong difference, I want to distinguish how both organizations approach and solve modern problems with modern solutions. Researching these organizations will allow me to provide useful key points that viewers can benefit from and see the difference between the two organizations. My other primary goal to achieve is discussing the importance and difference of a doctor and healer as well. With the similar format as the health organizations, I want to distinguish the cultural difference of a healer and a doctor in today’s terms. I want to review the history of both professions and discuss how they influence upon each other and provide detailed key points. The focus of my final project is to connect my career interest with Arabian culture and how it
signifies the importance of how it has influenced the medical field in today’s world. I will connect Arabian culture in the 1980’s involving with the healer and how it has signified and evolved into today’s world.
