Abstract:
My project Escalation & Fear of Annihilation covers the topic of the Cold War. I created a presentation that outlines the building up to the Cold War and the different values and principles of the two super powers involved in the Cold War, the United States of America and the Soviet Union. I then go into how the Cold War was precieved and how it was still very relevant in the 1980's. I wanted to focus a little more on how the fear and constant threat from being whiped out by "the enemny" affected society in the 1980's, and how that fear was then reflected in and onto society.
