Abstract:
Elf is a short song inspired by Christmas music, 80s synthpop and winter levels in video games. I used synths form VSTs which replicates the same synths popular during the 80s. I tried to arrange the drums to sound like they were coming from a drum machine. I also tried to include some modern elements in my song such as hi-hat rolls and some other instruments which weren't necessarily available during the 80s.
