Abstract:
Many in-person planetarium shows have been forced to pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to this, many planetariums have begun producing virtual planetarium shows in lieu of in-person shows that people can view from home. The Fiske Planetarium at the University of Colorado Boulder have created a virtual planetarium show called Dome to Home. Dome to Home covers a wide range of astronomy topics. I am interested in researching the effectiveness of these virtual shows. To do this I have created a survey for the viewers of these episodes to take to provide feedback and answer questions about the episodes they watched. No results have been found yet because the survey has not yet been approved by the IRB.
