Abstract:
For my research project I chose to look into the decline of African American athletes in baseball.  Because my course asked us to focus on the 1980's I focused my research on the changes in demographics of baseball starting in the 1980's which happened to be the year where the first major drop ofn umbers of black players occured.  This is an ongoing pattern that is worsening each year.
