Abstract:
Dear Mr. Maḥfūẓ is a letter inspired by the current state of the world. It is an exploration of the major societal changes that have influenced the way we are functioning and interacting with each other today. The way society functions today is unsustainable. We can feel it and see it all around us. In the way our great state of California goes up in flames every year, in the way an election has society on the brink of civil war, in the way we cannot seem to find our way out of a warless society. This is essentially a love letter to tomorrow, a love letter to the future ahead of us.
