Abstract:
"Can You Dig It?" is the only Radio Show capable of interviewing authors and characters. Come with me on a journey through time to interview these authors in the midst of the 70s. I was fortunate enough to travel back into the 1970s and interview Hunter S. Thompson about his novel Fear and loathing in Las Vegas, and Raoul Duke, the main character, we discuss topics like drug use, the American Dream, the police and much more. I also interview Philip K. Dick about his novel Flow My Tears, the Policeman Said, and Jason Taverner, the main character, we discuss their relationship with America, questions of reality and the media and more! Lastly, I got to interview Ursula K. Le Guin about her novel The Lathe of Heaven, and George Orr, the main character, we discuss gender norms, cultural anxieties, and dreams. And as always question everything you think you know.
