Abstract:
This project aims to properly represent characters from Naguib Mahfouz's Arabian Days and Nights in a modern sense. It focuses mostly on fashion in the 1980s and how it could be interpreted into a realistic idea of how these characters were represented in the book. It draws from inspiration of fashion from the Middel East and the United States as well due to the final piece of the project. The final piece of the project features two pieces of my own art which I have created to represent the characters.
