Abstract:
I have created a timeline on Instagram using a series of photos from different websites in order to give the reader information on the AIDS crisis during the 80's. I decided to use some influential photos as well as individuals who had passed due to AIDS. I wanted this project to give a little bit of insight as to how this epidemic created such a stigma around the LGBTQ community during the 80's and still today! I also provided some information as to how the AIDS crisis is going today and how new and advanced technology has provided better resources for individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
