Abstract:
For my creative project, I made a poster for Aids inspired by the 1980's. In order to create this piece I turned to a few mentors to get inspiration. I chose a black and white background because I wanted the rainbow lettering to really stand out. In the 1980's, Aids was seen as a gay disease, so that is why I chose the different color lettering. The image I chose for the background is an image of condoms hanging on a line with clothespins to represent how to protect you and your partner from contracting the disease.
