Abstract:
To study the impact of habitat alterations of powerline clearance on avian species diversity a new proprietary technology called Audiomoth was used to detect species presence at several cleared sites and one undisturbed site at Fairfield-Osborn Preserve. The evaluation of whether there is a significant difference in diversity between these habitat conditions will determine whether or not the alteration of habitat has impacted the diversity among avian species seen on Sonoma Mountain.
