Plasticola is an internally illuminated crested wave throne, inviting the viewer with comfort and protection. The wave is made from feathered remnants of Walmart bags that gently float in the breeze to reveal their eternal promise of plastic product. As people approach, Plasticola changes color through the rainbow, from a reassuring blue to an agitated red.
