The Anthropological Studies Center (ASC) will update, redesign, record, and launch an updated audio driving tour at Amache National Historic Site. The current audio driving tour was written and recorded nearly 15 years ago and the wayside signs that accompany the tour were installed over 10 years ago. Both the wayside signs and the audio tour need to be replaced and updated. The signs are severely weathered and difficult to read, sign content is outdated, and in some places inaccurate. The driving tour route leads visitors through archaeologically sensitive areas, and the interpretive stories and perspectives need to be expanded to reach a broader audience.
