This project entails the return of the remains of 22 ancestors and 8 associated funerary objects to the Round Valley Indian Tribes. The SSU NAGPRA Program has identified three specific areas in which assistance is needed which are collections care, disposition, and coalitions & partnerships. These funds will support the preparation and transport of both ancestors and cultural items to Covelo, California.
