The Anthropological Studies Center (ASC) will develop & implement an archeological testing plan for the 1721 15th Street Project in San Francisco, CA. The project site is very highly sensitive for buried and near-surface precontact archeological resources. As there is a reasonable expectation of archaeological resources on site, the proposed project triggers Project Mitigation Measure 1 - Archeological Testing (Implementing Eastern Neighborhoods PEIR Mitigation Measure J-3). The first step in fulfilling the Mitigation Measure is the preparation and implementation of an archaeological testing program.
