Conducting archaeological monitoring of Bay Flat Road, Bodega Bay. The proposed project will include the placement of cape seals, chip seals, and slurry seals on Bay Flat Road, install metal beam guard rail, maintain ditches, and replace existing culverts along the road for the Pavement Preservation Program. There is one recorded cultural resource in the Project Area (shell midden deposit that was not relocated) and areas of cultural sensitivity that the County of Sonoma has determined need to be monitored during construction activities. Full-time monitoring of ground disturbing activities along Bay Flat Road will be conducted.
