The Interpersonal Violence Prevention Initiatives: Strengthening Campus Community Partnerships & Implementing a Bystander Intervention Program

In an effort to create a safer campus environment that will allow all community members to thrive, SSU will increase awareness of issues, policies, protocols, & supportive resources related to sexual assault, dating or domestic violence, sexual harassment, stalking. SSU will accomplish this through the Interpersonal Violence Prevention Initiatives: Strengthening Campus Community Partnerships & Implementing a Bystander Intervention Program, which will include developing & implementing a student-led bystander intervention program & by strengthening the recently established Campus Community Response team known at SSU as the Sexual Misconduct/Assault Response Team. These diverse efforts can also contribute to harm mitigation and reduction, which is SSU's overall, long-term aim.
